U.S. Marine Corps and SnapSports, Inc. Team Up for a Slam Dunk

In need of a durable platform to play basketball, and enjoy well-earned time off, the U.S. Marine Corps looked no further than a quality, U.S.-made SnapSports® system.

To complete the Marine’s request, parent company, SnapLock, Industries, has enlisted help of Operation Give to donate a DuraSlam® backboard and hoop system to provide a total recreation package. In doing so, SnapLock wishes to say a big “thank you” to all of the Marine men and woman that work so hard to protect our country. For over thirty years SnapLock Industries, Inc. has supplied quality flooring systems, all made start-to-finish in their own Utah based factories. The family owned SnapLock Industries has become the choice of demanding customers worldwide including the hardworking U.S. Marine Corps.

The DuraSlam® basketball system is on a container shipping to Iraq this week and will be a welcomed compliment to the Marines’ custom basketball court. No doubt there will be plenty of smooth moves, dramatic dribbling and slam dunks on the SnapSports® custom-painted basketball court. The DuraSlam® backboard will easily stand up to the day-to-day punishment the Marines dish out and can be easily adjusted to allow service members of any height to have fun and score big.

SnapLock CEO, Jorgen Moller says “This is not about us donating the hoop system and supplying athletic surfacing, but more about SnapSorts, Inc. giving something to the troops in appreciation for all they are doing for us.” Being a family owned business and very proud of being “made in the USA” SnapLock® fully supports the efforts of our troops and will do anything to keep them fit, strong and happy.
