SnapSports Athletic Surfaces Team Up With The New Jersey Nets To Provide A New Fun & Fitness Center at East Orange’s Fellowship Civic Center

SnapSports® Athletic Surfaces, a family owned and operated company for over 35 years, was asked to participate with the New Jersey Nets in providing a new Fun & Fitness Center at the East Orange, New Jersey’s Fellowship Civic Center.

The city’s mayor, Robert Bowser and the city’s recreation director, Larry Schumacher, reached out to the NBA, Toyota, and the city as a whole, to help execute a “fast break” for recreation and health within the community to help the city’s younger residents.

On hand at the grand opening were NBA stars Vince Carter and Devin Harris of the New Jersey Nets, New Jersey’s local SnapSports dealer, Thomas Peterson, and several members of the city’s recreation department. “Recreation is important to our children, so we can’t put enough emphasis on it,” Schumacher said. “Our kids are not safe anywhere, so it takes all forces coming together to keep them safe.”
