Shipping Clerk for Warehouse Paint Department

Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Ability to comprehend, measure, and tape out sports lines on courts for painting
  • Paint straight lines
  • Work with shipping associates to ensure all shipments are completed and delivered to correct locations.
  • Perform all shipping processes.
  • Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments, make sure orders are complete and accurate.
  • Print Labels
  • Receive any incoming deliveries accurately.
  • Move product to specified warehouse safely and accurately.
  • Look for areas of improvement and safety, setup, process, work flow
  • Provide additional shipping duties for promotional or tradeshow orders
  • Ensure all packaged products have shipped for the day
  • Process all paperwork needed for international orders; commercial invoices, certificates of origin and customs paperwork
  • Forward all international shipping documents to appropriate department
  • Inventory reporting
  • Have good working relationships with Customer Service, Manufacturing and Sales Department
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal directions

Minimum Requirements:

  • Able to drive a stick shift/manual transmission vehicle
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR
  • Able to read and write English proficiently
  • Knowledgeable in Excel
  • Experience working with various WMS systems
  • Experience working with various LTL and Parcel systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Experience in forklift operation
  • Able to lift 50–70 pounds

  • Standard propane Forklift
  • Manual Pallet Jack
