- Day Shift: $17.50 an hour, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Swing Shift: $18.75 an hour, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Night Shift: $20.00 an hour, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Job Description:
SnapLock Industries is a family owned and operated flooring manufacturer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are completely In-House from engineering and manufacturing our molds to loading shipments on the trucks. Our products are 100% Made in the USA. We are currently seeking an energetic, outgoing individual to join our team.
This position effectively carries out activities related to the production of tiles and plastic parts, through the proper use of the assigned equipment. Fully complying with the instructions given by the Quality Control and shift Supervisor staff. Ensuring with this, that the manufactured parts are within the quality standards established by the company.
Responsibilities/Activities:
- Proceeds to prepare the necessary boxes and quantity for your work station
- Ensures to have all the materials and tools necessary for the performance of its functions
- Receive instructions from the operator who is delivering the machines, in order to continue with the production
- Complies with the instructions given by quality control staff regarding the handling of the product
- Properly place and accommodate the finished product on pallets.
- Place labels on each box. Pre-checking that the information printed on it corresponds to the Work Order of the product
- Inform Quality Control staff, about any situation or damage with the products (short, plastic excess, shadows, color faults, etc.)
- Report in a timely manner about any event/emergency related to equipment (abrupt stops, alarms, unusual sounds, water leaks, oil, etc.)
- Provides support for training new operators
- Proper use of PPE implements supplied by the company (lenses, gloves, ear protectors)
- Deliver the shift, leaving your work area clean and tidy
- Must comply with the rules, policies and security measures established by the company
- Any other activity assigned to you, inherent in your responsibility
